Most of the data is what you provide yourself on our forms — for example when joining a waiting list or registering for an info session:
We use your data for communication about training and handling registrations. If you give separate consent, we also send you reminders about training requirements and upcoming courses.
Different purposes have different legal bases:

Not all processing is based on consent. You can withdraw consent at any time — this stops reminders and marketing, but does not delete data we are required by law to retain, such as training records and accounting.
The details you submit through our forms are stored in Netlify (Netlify, Inc.), which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Access is limited to authorised persons at A-plus House Oy. Netlify is a US-based provider, so data may be transferred outside the European Union. The transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
We keep data only as long as it is needed for the purpose described above. Reminders relating to training requirements may be kept until the end of the refresher training transition period (31 August 2034), after which they are deleted. You can request deletion of your data. We will delete it unless we have a reason to retain it based on a contract, a legal obligation or the handling of legal claims.
To exercise your rights, contact us at info@aplusfi.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We respond within one month.
The course finder produces a rule-based recommendation from your answers: the situation you select and, if given, your licence expiry date determine which training is likely to apply to you.
The recommendation is advisory. It is not an official decision or a binding determination of your training needs, and we always confirm your situation before a booking. We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that would produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
Please do not write health information, personal identity codes or other sensitive data into the free-text fields on this website. The personal identity code is given only when registering for a course, on the booking system's own form.
Required fields on our forms are marked. If you do not provide them, we cannot process your registration or answer your enquiry.
This site uses only cookies that are necessary for it to function. We do not use tracking cookies without your consent. The site does not load fonts, maps or other files from third-party servers, so your browser does not contact third-party servers when you open a page. However, our hosting provider Netlify processes technical data necessary to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser data and server logs.
